FAQ
01 What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF 50+ means the fabric blocks 98% of harmful UV rays — both UVA and UVB. It's the gold standard for sun-protective clothing and keeps you protected during long days outdoors.
02 Will the UPF protection fade after washing?
No. The protection is built into the fabric's knit and fiber structure rather than applied as a coating, so it's designed to last the life of the garment with normal care.
03 What is the fabric made of?
Our gear uses two constructions: a smooth jersey knit (100% polyester) and a stretch mesh (85% polyester / 15% spandex). The mesh panels add stretch and airflow where you move most.
04 How lightweight is the fabric?
It weighs about 153 g/m² - light enough for all-day wear on the water, yet built to hold up to repeated use.
05 How do I wash my performance gear?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softeners — they clog moisture-wicking fibers. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not bleach or iron directly on printed areas.
06 Is your gear suitable for water sports?
Yes. Our quick-dry fabric dries in minutes and handles sweat, splashes, and light water activities with ease — great for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and beach days.
07 How does sizing work?
Our gear runs true to size. Check our Size Chart for exact measurements. If you're between sizes and prefer a relaxed fit, size up — the fabric has a slight stretch for freedom of movement.
08 Is the sun protection independently tested?
Yes. The fabric was tested by Intertek, an independent global testing lab, and rated UPF 50+ (Report No. HKGT05535869, AATCC TM183-2020e, March 2025).
